The links lead to each company's own website (they open in a new tab). El Refugio de Redo does not run these activities.
The mountains, on your own terms
And if you would rather go at your own pace, the valley is full of plans that need no booking and no guide: just good boots and the will to walk.

Puertos de Áliva
Ride up on the Fuente Dé cable car and walk back down to Espinama across the Áliva pastures (route PR-PNPE 24): around 4 hours among meadows, beech woods and views of the central massif.

Dizzying viewpoints
The El Cable viewpoint (1,847 m) at Fuente Dé, Santa Catalina above the La Hermida gorge, or Collado de Llesba on the San Glorio pass, with its famous bear monument.

Pools on the river Deva
A step away from Lebeña, the river Deva forms pools where you can take a dip or simply rest your feet on a summer's day.

Walks in the Camaleño valley
Gentle routes between stone villages, grain stores and meadows that you can start from the door of the house itself, such as the "Bajo los Picos" walk.

Wildlife watching
With a pair of binoculars you will spot chamois on the heights and bearded vultures gliding over the gorge; brown bears also live in these woods.

Snow and snowshoes
In winter the Áliva pastures and Fuente Dé are covered in snow: a perfect setting for a quiet walk on snowshoes.
